As we say "Adieu" to Switzerland we spent a final lunch at Juckerfarm in Seegraben with Anna and Sofia. Sunny end of the summer day.
They were preparing for their big pumpkin festival and exhibit. The views from Juckerfarm are breathtaking, the only thing missing is a alp peak in the back.
Dixie, Sofia and Anna checking out the goats. Dixie and I picked some leaves to feed to the goats. Dixie was brave enough to feed the goats herself, but picking the leaves I had to do.
Taking a chill in one of the many hammocks.
In the afternoon it was time to meet up with Jake and Kaine and parents. Walking through the artzy and cool area of Zurich Hardbrucke.
I love this, this is real street art to me.
Papi came and joined in after work at the playground near the Viadukt area.
Weow! Kaine was loving the hammock!
Went for a swim in the fountain. Dixie got to borrow a cool pair of Mambo swim shorts of Kaine. Surfer chick Dixie!
Let's face it. It's impossible to get a good picture of the three of them together.
At restaurant Les Halles in Hardbrucke. A hidden gem. Kaine enjoyed a meal of pest ravioli that he shared with Jake and Dixie. This little boy can eat, and he eats well, except for when he is talking on his phone which in this case was a fresh slice of lemon.
Aperol. My darling Dee! I will miss you and all our fika dates!
Anders and I shared a beef tartar and a bowl of their famous and very delicious mussels in white wine sauce. Mmmm! Our final day and evening in Switzerland and our friends made it so very special. Tomorrow we are taking a last look at the cleaning of the apartment, and then we are heading to Alsace for a gourmet evening. Before my eyes starts to tear up to much, I will say it now "Adieu Schweiz, it's been a fab 10.5 years!"
