View from our room at the farm in Kaunertal, Austria. Rainy and gray, but still beautiful.
The first thing we see from the bathroom window are the goats that escaped. The lady of the house told us that these two always escape. The one to the right is the older one, a very stubborn goat and the goat to the left, follows the other goat's every move. Dixie loved the entertainment and could hardly wait to go to see the bunnies.
Dixie's favorite part of the whole weekend was to feed the bunnies. She picked the most delicious dandy lion leaves for the bunnies.
Going up to a mountain top on a rainy day did not fly with us so we headed to Landeck. Perfect timing, they had a children's festival in town. Confetti everywhere.
Our drive back to the farm, the winding roads in Kaunertal.
While in Landeck, Dixie got to buy some toys, pens and a drawing pad. Dixie and her new little pink bunny friend, Lola, were busy drawing and erasing all evening.
Morning glory on sunny Sunday. Beautiful day on our last day at the farm. After the morning procedure of feeding the bunnies we headed up the mountain to Sattelklause.
A fantastic playground, a great restaurant and a Austrian live band playing traditional music from Tirol.
A huge water park, both Dixie and I had fun playing with the water.
A late lunch before we headed back to the farm and later on back to Zurich. Wonderful weekend, a well needed break from all the moving planning and packing. Loving Kaunertal.
